Permits

TransAfrika holds five permits over 48 600ha in Mali. The five permit areas are: Dag-Dag, Loulo-Est, Ségala-Ouest, Foulaboula and Farabatourou. The permits are situated in the Kayes, Kenieba and Sikasson regions, which are all well known locations for gold mineralisation.

Mining operations by AngloGold Ashanti and Randgold Resources (Sadiola, Yatela and Morila) are situated within the same regional areas. Field work is currently concentrating on the Loulo-Est, Segala-Ouest and Farabantourou permit areas.
